Care Guide
Care for What Is Designed to Last Murphy Hills garments are created with longevity in mind. Our philosophy is simple: Create less. Create better. Create products that matter. We design garments to maintain their structure, remain relevant beyond seasonal trends and deliver years of wear. The best care begins with following the specific care label attached to your garment.
Wash With Intention
Wash only when necessary. Follow the garment's individual care label. Turn graphic or dark garments inside out where appropriate. Use a gentle cycle for delicate constructions. Avoid unnecessarily high temperatures. Wash similar colours together.
Protect The Artwork
For printed, embroidered, embossed or specially treated garments: Turn garments inside out before washing where recommended. Avoid harsh detergents and bleach. Do not scrub directly over artwork. Avoid excessive heat. Do not iron directly over prints, embroidery or specialist finishes.
Dry With Care
Whenever possible, allow garments to air dry naturally. Avoid excessive tumble drying unless the garment's care label specifically permits it. High heat can contribute to shrinkage, distortion and unnecessary wear.
Preserve The Silhouette
Premium garments are designed around carefully engineered proportions, garment balance, fit and construction. To help preserve that structure: Do not overload the washing machine. Avoid aggressive wringing. Fold heavyweight knitwear and fleece rather than hanging them for extended periods. Use appropriate hangers for structured garments. Store garments in a cool, dry environment.
Premium Fabrics
Different Murphy Hills fabrics require different care. Always follow the individual garment label rather than applying a single care method across your wardrobe. When in doubt, choose the gentler option.
Care Is Part Of The Experience
The objective is not simply to keep a garment looking new. It is to help it age beautifully, retain its character and remain part of your wardrobe for years to come.
